Grumpy Baby

Will is almost six weeks old now and is turning into a grumpy baby!! He started making this grunting noise when he was about 3 weeks old and he does it all the time now, where are the coos at LOL! No, he really is a pretty good baby, especially during the day, and especially when other people are around. He still fights sleep at night and doesn't sleep well, but hopefully that will get better with time. He does get some major boogies in his nose that we have to suck out with the nasal aspirator. Is that normal? I hate doing it and he screams so much, poor thing! The past couple of weeks have been tiring, but fun, and Will gets cuter and cuter everyday. I have about a million pics on my phone, because I snap pics of him all day long and email them to John at work! Here are some pictures we have taken over the last couple of weeks.

He always has to have a hand up by his head or face, just like in the womb!!

This is not a social smile, as they call it, but one I guess brought on by gas while he was in a milk coma!

She forgot to mention who is the one that always has to get those "major boogies" out. That would be me!! In fact, the other day I was on my way to the bowling alley for my lunch league at work when I got a phone call, because she couldn't get his nose cleared out. So I had to miss bowling to go home a suck some boogies. Oh, well...I guess those are the sacrifices we all must make. He really is a cute boy and we love him so much.

Buy some nasal saline drops (they have them for babies.) It works wonders when trying to clean the nose out. Spencer discovered them with our first and I am very, very grateful.

Love the pics of your beautiful baby!

it's about time we got to see some more pictures! What a cutie! Boogies--seriously guys--that stuff is a piece of cake compared to what your future with a little boy holds!

He's adorable, I had the boogie problem too, so ya, its pretty normal. Like you, I too would snap tons of pics with my cell phone. It is fun to look back at them in a few months. You will be able to see all of the little changes taht Will will go through, its like a cool baby growing slide show. I still at them from time to time and Andrew is almost one. Enjoy it, Time Flies!!!

Gosh---he's absolutely beautiful! Gas smiles are still smiles...wait until he melts your heart with the real things!
We get into weird conversations--Sugar Smack cereal and nose boogies....what's next. No, do not describe his poop!
